Last night, Tyler, Kimberlily, and I all had a fantastic and simple meal.
Sandra Lee should really move over in terms of the semi-homemade. Our semi-homemade food is absolutely the best!
Yesterday was colder than any of us expected it was going to be, so we decided on having a nice soup for dinner. We tried the Campbell’s Select, a tomato and basil that was fairly delicious.
In addition to this, we also had a good salad and Italian bread.
The salad consisted of lettuce, tomato, and cucumber as the basis, and we added goat cheese and poppy seed dressing to give it an extra dimension.
The Italian loaf was toasted with olive oil, oregano, garlic salt, and red pepper flakes. This complemented the soup quite well, to which Tyler had added cayenne pepper and some more spices.
The soup, salad, and bread combination definitely warmed us up. We finished it all off with coffee and watching Frosty the Snowman later on.
Sorry for the lack of photos…the meal was really so delicious that I forgot all about taking any pictures, and then I was already done when the thought dawned on me.
Also, I want to extend my apologies for the lack of entries lately. Normally, I’ll write several at one time and then post them throughout the week; this time, I’ve been only writing a few at a time and then forgetting to write new ones, and in some cases, I’ve just been too busy to write.
