Hyper Easy Ramen Recipe

15 Jan

This must seriously be the easiest ramen recipe that has ever come into existence.

I discovered it by accident.

But this accident happened to be a happy collision.

So, here goes:

Beaux’s Hyper Easy Ramen Recipe!

What you need:

  • 1 pack of ramen (any flavor)
  • 3 Tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon of garlic powder

That means this:

This:

And this:

What you do:

  • Discard the flavor packet.
  • Boil the ramen.
  • Add the other ingredients.
  • Cook the ramen until almost all the water is gone.

The trick to cooking my ramen is to not leave a huge amount of liquid in the noodles. Given, if you try cooking all the liquid out, you’ll find the ramen sticking to the pan.

I suggest cooking the ramen in a skillet for this reason- it’s easier to spread the noodles out so you can eyeball the amount of liquid in it.

Also, you may want to double all the ingredients- ramen is good, but it isn’t very filling. The unfortunate aspect is that ramen isn’t very healthy for you, and an actual serving is half a brick. Most people cook the whole brick, and I personally cook two bricks usually- that turns out to be four servings, wow!

But ramen is so tasty!

A little lesson on pronunciation: “Worcestershire” is a formidable word at first sight, but it’s really not so difficult. Break it down into three parts: wors-ter-shire, and you have the pronunciation.

More ramen recipes on the way!

Wow, this is two posts in a day. YAY!

I find that Worcestershire is one of the funniest words to hear us Southerners attempt to pronounce… 🙂

I have always said ‘woo stir shire’ leaving out one of the r’s too many. Well, thank you for the elocution lesson; I will try to remember the ‘wor’ instead of the ‘woo’ because we use a lot of it and just need to know the correct pronunciation….See, one is just never ever too old to learn….

I think you can say it that way, actually- “woo” is an acceptable pronunciation!
