One night, I took it upon myself to have an incredibly healthy dinner. The dinner consisted of just a few things: French bread, cheese straws, red grapes, and Monterey Jack cheese.
There’s no real recipe to this- just uber-delicious food.
I also had a bowl of EVOO with several spices mixed in to eat with the French bread.
Terrific, healthy, whole-food type meal.
The cheese straws, as I later discovered, are actually somewhat unhealthy. Okay, they’re really unhealthy.
However, having a meal of mainly whole foods instead of some kind of concocted recipe seemed to be a refreshing change. Fresh fruits and veggies are a great way to nourish the body, and believe it or not, they actually taste great.
