More Updates on Japan

11 Mar

Everyone, due to the tragedy in Japan, our regularly scheduled blogging on food will likely largely shift to coverage of Japan.

Van Tilden and Katsutoshi Kato are keeping me updated about what all’s happening in Japan. So far, the people I know are safe.

The earthquake has created an incredible level of devastation in Japan, along with the tsunami. The situation at hand is bleak, according to Katsutoshi, because the communication has largely been knocked out.

The devastation includes earthquakes, fires, the tsunami, and even a failed nuclear plant that may have a radioactive leak.

Needless to say, people, we are dealing with a crisis in Japan the likes of which we have never seen.

I’ll keep everyone updated. The food blog may go in hiatus for a while.

I told her to get out of Japan as quickly as possible and get to the USA with everyone and that we would find a place for them to all stay. It’s bad over there right now.

I’m glad your folks are ok. I thought about them immediately when I heard. Prayers for everyone affected……
